In order to build a digital Bangladesh for the implementation of the vision 2021 announced by the present Hon'ble Prime Minister of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, the Government attaches special importance to this sector and ensures technical assistance in the ubiquitous application and use of information and communication technology at district, upazila and union level; Access to information and communication technology marginalized, infrastructure security provisions; Maintenance Implementation; The government is committed to ensuring the provision of e-services in remote areas of the country by expanding quality control and enhancing the skills of computer professionals.
The vision and mission of the government are to establish good governance through a knowledge-based economy, use of information technology in establishing good governance, development of infrastructure by ensuring optimal use of the information technology sector, creation of skilled human resources, creation of decent work and establishment of e-services.
The ICT branch of the district administration is playing a role in taking Chapainawabganj district forward in the ICT sector. The district administration and ICT branch are working to build a digital Bangladesh through the best use of information technology and to provide technical services to the people.

- Software and hardware troubleshooting.
- Provide training to officers/employees on web portals, e-documents, e-documents, e-mobile courts, and information and communication technology.
- Provide skills development training to entrepreneurs of Union Digital Center.
- Receive e-mails, e-documents, messages, etc. received from various Ministries, Departments / Offices and send them to the concerned officials.
- Organizing meetings, seminars with various Ministries, Departments / Offices through video conferencing and zooming.
- Organizing monthly meetings of district information and communication technology.
- Supervise the establishment and operation of Sheikh Russell Digital Lab.
- Perform innovation related tasks and provide training related to innovation.
- Provide training on information and communication technology in labs set up in educational institutions from BCC.
